It’s been a minute since I wanted to buy a whole album but I just downloaded Santigold’s latest “Master of my Make-Believe” then danced to every single song. It reminds me of days gone by, before the age of singles, when records told a story. While there is cohesion on this one, it may be subjective. Check out these two outwardly different videos and the dub-pop-dance track “Freak Like Me.”

This album is so full of heat and I’m excited for more remixes to come from it. Say it with me now: Dip-lo, Dip-lo, Dip-lo. He produced a couple of the tracks but I hope he remixes some too because he and Santi make good music together; Top Ranking is still one of my favorite albums.
