A few years ago, when I moved to Oakland, I was stoked when I found out about 57-33 Studios. A lot of their work is based upon juxtaposed styles and designs. One of their iconic designs is an Asian girl standing over her bicycle, wearing a hygienic face mask and gloves.
I really like Eddie’s style, mixing different elements of the Hong Kong cityscape into an eclectic and busy background, while capturing a single moment of his subject for us to ponder upon. Make sure to check out Eddie Colla’s blog and the 57-33 Studio webstore for cool swag from Eddie and more.
Artist Eddie Colla, recently released a 9-piece series titled HK.
